Effective Date: 2026-09-14

1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the RideLoop motorcycle route-planning, recording, navigation, and discovery application and related services (the “Service”).
By creating an account, accessing, or using RideLoop, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Questions about these Terms may be sent to [email protected].
2. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law to use RideLoop. The Service is not directed at children under 13, and you may not use RideLoop if you are under 13.
If you use RideLoop on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
3. User Accounts
You may create an account with an email and password or sign in with supported third-party providers such as Google. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for activity under your account.
Provide accurate account information and notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. We may suspend or restrict accounts that appear insecure, abusive, or in violation of these Terms.
4. Permitted Use
Subject to these Terms, RideLoop grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, lawful motorcycle trip planning, navigation assistance, ride recording, and related discovery features.
You may not reverse engineer, scrape, overload, interfere with, or misuse the Service, or use it for any purpose other than its intended motorcycle navigation and ride-related functions, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by law.
5. Motorcycle Riding and Safety
Motorcycle riding involves inherent risk. RideLoop is a software tool for planning and navigation support; it is not a substitute for rider judgment, training, licensing, or safe operation of your motorcycle.
You remain solely responsible for operating your vehicle safely, wearing appropriate protective gear, and complying with all applicable traffic and safety laws. Do not interact with the app in a way that distracts you while riding.
6. Route Planning Disclaimer
Routes, suggested paths, and related guidance generated or displayed by RideLoop are advisory only. They are planning aids, not instructions that must be followed and not a guarantee of a particular outcome.
A route shown in RideLoop does not guarantee legal motorcycle access, safe conditions, availability of the road or trail, pavement quality, or the absence of hazards, closures, or restrictions.
You are responsible for confirming that any route is lawful and appropriate for your motorcycle, skill level, and local conditions before you ride.
8. Road Conditions and Closures
Road surfaces, weather, traffic, construction, seasonal closures, and access rules change frequently. RideLoop does not continuously verify real-world conditions along a route.
You are responsible for assessing weather, road surface, vehicle suitability, and whether a road or area is open and lawful to ride before and during your trip.
9. User Responsibility
You remain responsible for complying with traffic laws, posted signs, closures, private-property rules, weather and road-surface conditions, your motorcycle’s suitability for the route, your skill level, and all safe riding decisions.
RideLoop does not assume responsibility for tickets, citations, accidents, injuries, property damage, or other consequences arising from how you interpret or follow app guidance.
If guidance conflicts with what you observe on the road, stop safely when appropriate, reassess, and prioritize lawful real-world conditions.
10. Recorded Rides and User Content
You may create, save, or upload content in connection with the Service, including planned routes, recorded rides, preferences, feedback, and related information (“User Content”).
You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant RideLoop a limited license to host, process, store, and display User Content as needed to operate and improve the Service and to provide features you enable.
Do not submit content that you do not have rights to share, or that is unlawful, harmful, or infringing.
11. Third-Party Services
RideLoop relies on third-party providers for functions such as hosting and storage, maps and place search, authentication, routing engines, diagnostics, and email. Those providers’ terms and privacy practices may also apply when their services are used.
Depending on configuration and features you use, providers may include Cloudflare, Google (Places, Maps Platform, and OAuth), Mapbox, Valhalla, BRouter (when enabled), OpenRouteService (when configured), Sentry, and Resend.
RideLoop is not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control, including outages, data errors, or changes in third-party APIs or terms.
12. Intellectual Property
RideLoop and its branding, software, design, and documentation are owned by RideLoop or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of RideLoop intellectual property to you. Feedback you provide may be used to improve the Service without obligation to you.
13. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
Use the Service in violation of law, including traffic laws or unauthorized access to private property;
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data;
Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including through automated scraping, abuse of APIs, or excessive load;
Misrepresent your identity or affiliation;
Upload malware or harmful code; or
Use RideLoop in any manner that creates unreasonable risk to others on the road.
14. Service Availability
We aim to keep RideLoop available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or continuous access. Maintenance, outages, network issues, and third-party failures may affect the Service.
Features may be modified, limited, or discontinued as the product evolves. Offline or degraded modes may not include all planning, routing, or sync capabilities.
15. Beta Features
Some RideLoop features may be offered as beta, preview, or experimental. Beta features may change, break, or be withdrawn without notice.
Interruptions, incomplete data, and errors may occur while beta features are under development. If you encounter problems, please report them to us so we can investigate and improve the Service.
You can contact support at [email protected].
16. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RIDELOOP DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Without limiting the foregoing, RideLoop does not warrant that routes, maps, navigation guidance, place data, or recorded-ride features will be accurate, complete, current, lawful for motorcycles in every jurisdiction, or free of hazards.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimer limitations; in those places, disclaimers apply to the fullest extent permitted.
17. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RIDELOOP AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR RIDE-RELATED COSTS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RIDELOOP’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO RIDELOOP FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100).
These limitations apply even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose, except where prohibited by applicable law.
18. Termination
You may stop using RideLoop at any time. You may request account-related assistance, including deletion requests, by contacting support as described in our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and intellectual-property terms) will survive termination.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective and last-updated dates shown on this page.
Continued use of RideLoop after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, except where applicable law requires additional notice or consent.
20. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws in your place of residence require otherwise.
If a dispute arises, you agree to first contact us and attempt to resolve it informally before pursuing other remedies, to the extent such a process is permitted by law.
